Letter From the Federation President

By Admin

September 3, 2012 Our beloved Officers of the Federation Greetings! Thank you for your letter dated July 18, 2012 of which I received yesterday. For  your information, on August 20 0f 2010, I have retired as Honorary Consul-General of Japan in Ceremony hosted by the Embassy of Japan at Baguio Country Club, ending my humble 3 terms, totaling 15 years of service to the Government of Japan. Early in September of that the sane year, I felt severe chest pains and was rushed to the Cardinal Santos Hospital in San Juan City, MM. The Angiogram result showed that my heart’s arteries had multiple blocks. I was given 3 options, to undergo multiple heart by-pass, angioplasty or not to undergo any procedure at all. I apologize for being inactive in the Federation’s activities for… Read More »

In fact, she was invited by Asia Africa Latin-America Association (AALA), the only Ngo in Japan which can participate in the non-aligned nation summits, to present to the group this October the historical background of the association, its functions and activities that resulted in forging friendly relations with established and prestigious groups in Japan. Reports along this line will be published in our next issue. Good news! Our association has received the favorable decision rendered in the Shuseki Petition submitted by Carlos Toshimitsu. He is now a Category A descendant. From the least category for want of documents that support his root Mr. Toshimitsu is legally recognized as Japanese descended Filipino. This came about because of the joint effort… Read More »
